Jónar Express
Jónar Express is generally a 48-hour, door-to-door service, although a 24-hour service is also offered from the Copenhagen area. Having been cleared through customs by Jónar Transport, goods are then delivered direct to the recipient in Iceland around mid-day on the day after they are sent (24-hour service), or at mid-day two days later (48-hour service).
Operated from Denmark, Germany, Holland and Belgium, Jónar Express is a valuable addition to the companys conventional airfreight service, and provides clients with a wider range of options designed to serve their individual needs and requirements.
Using the service
Jónar Express is available to goods and freight from the countries listed above weighing less than 45 kg (gross weight), with the exception of CAD, COD and L/C consignments such as those containing hazardous materials. Other orders for delivery by Jónar Express must be confirmed by the sender or importer, whether in the form of individual deliveries or multiple consignments over a longer period of time.
